About the Role As Project Quantity Surveyor - Consultancy, you will provide commercial and cost management support throughout the project lifecycle, helping clients maintain control of expenditure, procurement and commercial risk. The role will involve working alongside clients and wider consultant teams, providing accurate commercial advice and ensuring projects are properly managed from a cost perspective. Key responsibilities will include: * Preparing cost plans, estimates and commercial reports * Advising clients on project costs and financial considerations * Supporting procurement and tendering activities * Reviewing tender returns and providing commercial recommendations * Managing project costs throughout the delivery process * Monitoring expenditure against approved budgets * Assessing variations and changes * Managing valuations and payment processes Candidate Background The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within a professional consultancy environment. A minimum of around three years' relevant PQS/QS experience would be suitable, with candidates operating at Project Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor level also considered. A relevant degree, HNC/HND or equivalent construction/commercial qualification is preferred, with RICS membership or a clear route towards chartership advantageous. Experience across one or more of the consultancy's key sectors would be relevant, including commercial, education, healthcare, residential, retail, industrial/logistics, hospitality or public sector projects.
