Projects range from smaller developments through to schemes valued at over £15 million, with current and completed work across Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire.
Why Join Them: The Project Manager will join an established business with a strong workload across the East Midlands and a varied portfolio of construction projects. The company provides support throughout the project lifecycle, from concept and construction through to completion and handover, working with experienced construction teams and established subcontractors, suppliers and consultants. - Developing and monitoring project programmes, ensuring key milestones are achieved
- Coordinating Site Managers, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and other project stakeholders
- Managing project budgets, costs and financial performance throughout delivery
- Monitoring progress and taking action where programme, cost or quality issues arise
- Ensuring projects are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements
- Maintaining strong communication with stakeholders throughout each project
- Working closely with commercial and construction teams to resolve project issues
- Reviewing procurement requirements and coordinating materials, plant and subcontractor resources
- Ensuring appropriate health and safety procedures are maintained throughout project delivery
- Monitoring quality and overseeing inspections, snagging and completion
- Managing project documentation, progress reports and relevant records
- Supporting the handover process and ensuring outstanding works are brought through to completion
- Identifying risks at an early stage and putting practical measures in place to manage them
The role will cover projects across the East Midlands, with the office based just outside Leicester. Regular travel to project sites will therefore be required.
Summary: This Project Manager position provides the opportunity to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of construction projects with an established East Midlands contractor.
