With a wealth of experience they are looking to keep expanding and require the right people to support them. This business delivers projects across the public and private sectors including: * New road and highways construction * Resurfacing and road maintenance * Car park builds and extensions * Drainage, kerbing and ancillary civil works * Infrastructure for local authorities, developers, and private clients With over 40 years’ experience, the company is known for quality, safety, and reliability, employing a permanent workforce and operating their own modern plant and machinery. What’s on Offer * Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (DOE) * Bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary * Profit Share Scheme: Linked to jobs completed safely, efficiently, on time and on budget * Private Healthcare * Career development within a growing, forward-thinking contractor The Role As a Road / Highways Engineer, you will: * Deliver a range of roads, highways and civil engineering projects across Central Scotland. * Manage projects from planning to completion, including liaising with clients, consultants, and local authorities. * Oversee design, specification, survey, and on-site delivery. * Ensure projects meet health, safety, quality, and budget requirements. * Work with the company’s in-house permanent workforce (not reliant on subcontractors). What We’re Looking For * Proven background in highways, road surfacing or civil engineering. * Some project management experience – comfortable running schemes and coordinating with stakeholders but not essential. * Strong technical knowledge of road construction, drainage, kerbing, and surfacing. * Full UK driving licence.
