This Quantity Surveyor position offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of projects valued between £500,000 and £10 million.
This Quantity Surveyor role would suit someone with strong experience in both internal and external construction works and a solid understanding of NEC contracts. The successful Quantity Surveyor will be based from either the Acton or Dartford office, with regular site visits as projects require.

About the Role
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial management of multiple projects from award through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing project costs and commercial performance
- Administering NEC contracts
- Preparing valuations, applications and final accounts
- Managing variations and compensation events
- Producing cost forecasts and financial reports
- Procurement and subcontractor management
- Supporting project delivery teams with commercial advice
- Managing project cash flow and cost control
- Attending site visits on a weekly or fortnightly basis as required
- Maintaining strong client and subcontractor relationships
- Ensuring commercial compliance throughout project lifecycles
Projects typically include internal and external refurbishment, fit-out and upgrade works such as blockwork, painting, doors, louvres, cladding, façades and wider architectural finishing packages.
