About the Role

As Mechanical Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing detailed and commercially competitive estimates for mechanical services projects ranging from large-scale new builds through to refurbishment and maintenance works.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing accurate cost estimates for mechanical installations and services projects
  • Reviewing tender documents, drawings, specifications, and project requirements
  • Producing detailed cost breakdowns, quantities, and pricing schedules
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations
  • Working closely with project and design teams during pre-construction stages
  • Assessing project risks and incorporating mitigation measures within estimates
  • Supporting bid reviews and final tender submissions
  • Monitoring market rates, material costs, and industry trends
  • Assisting with continuous improvements to estimating systems and processes
  • Managing multiple tenders and deadlines simultaneously
