With a strong pipeline of civil engineering projects in residential, commercial, education, heritage, and infrastructure sectors, they’re now looking to expand their team with an experienced Civil Engineer. This isn’t a desk-only role, it’s a mix of site survey work, technical design, and client-facing delivery. If you’ve got 3+ years of post-grad experience and enjoy applying engineering knowledge in practical, real-world situations, this one’s for you. The Role You’ll be engaged in a broad range of civil engineering tasks with a strong focus on site surveys, investigations, and reporting, including the following responsibilities: * Carrying out civil engineering site surveys and assessments * Designing external works and below-ground drainage schemes * Preparing technical reports, drawings, and calculations * Liaising with clients, contractors, and other consultants * Working closely with the in-house CAD and admin teams * Assisting with highways, foundations, and earthworks designs * Supporting on temporary works, infrastructure, and development projects Typical Projects * Residential developments * High-end domestic builds * Education and healthcare sites * Commercial and retail projects * Heritage and listed building schemes * Temporary works for construction support What We’re Looking For * 3+ years of civil engineering experience * Strong site survey and field experience is a must * A relevant degree in Civil Engineering * Proficiency with UK design codes and standards * Experience designing surface water, foul drainage, and external works * Great communication and report writing skills * Full UK driving licence * Working toward chartership (or already chartered) is advantageous How to Apply Apply now or contact Mark at Up Front Recruitment for more information
