About the Role
This is a site-based role with responsibility for managing all commercial aspects of a £4.5 million prime residential refurbishment project. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing financial and contractual elements of the project from start to completion
- Supporting pre-construction activities including procurement planning and tender reviews
- Preparing procurement schedules and monitoring progress against key milestones
- Issuing subcontract enquiries, analysing returns, and placing orders
- Preparing and managing interim valuations and variations
- Maintaining accurate cost reporting and cashflow forecasts
- Leading monthly cost reporting and cost value reconciliation
- Managing subcontractor accounts and agreeing final accounts
- Monitoring project costs, identifying risks, and issuing early warnings
- Attending project, design, and commercial meetings
- Managing change control and maintaining variation registers
- Preparing final account documentation and agreeing with relevant parties
- Ensuring contractual compliance across the project
