About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee multiple live construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to programme. You will act as a key link between site teams, subcontractors, clients and the office, helping to maintain high standards throughout delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing live sites from pre-contract stage through to completion and handover
- Attending project and pre-start meetings with clients and contractors
- Supervising site teams and subcontract labour
- Monitoring quality, safety and programme performance on site
- Producing progress reports, site updates and photographic records
- Assisting with RAMS and ensuring safe working practices are followed
- Managing client communication and resolving site-related issues
- Supporting project programming and identifying potential delays
- Monitoring labour, materials and resource allocation
- Carrying out regular inspections and quality checks
- Supporting procurement decisions and reviewing subcontractor performance
- Maintaining accurate records and site documentation
Requirements:
- Previous construction management experience within façade, glazing, curtain walling or related construction sectors
- SMSTS qualification
- CSCS Card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and site activities
- Comfortable travelling and working away where required
- Practical problem-solving approach and strong attention to detail
