About Updraft
We’re Updraft - the app for smarter credit. Our mission is simple: Credit that lifts you. We help people pay off expensive borrowing, spend wisely, and build lasting confidence with money. As we grow into a nationally recognised brand with our first TV campaign in 2026, we’re expanding our content engine and looking for a creative leader who can turn our story into scroll-stopping, shareable social content.

The Opportunity
This is a rare hybrid role for a hands-on content creator and strategic content lead. You’ll produce standout short-form content yourself - while also running a pipeline of creators and freelancers who deliver a steady flow of on-brand, high-performing social assets. You’ll build an always-on UGC program, fuel both organic and paid channels, and make sure our social storytelling reflects what’s happening across the brand - from PR to TV to product launches. You’ll partner with the design team to keep everything visually and tonally coherent, and with our web team to make sure content also supports SEO and discoverability.

What you’ll do

  • Create and produce high-quality short-form video for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts and other platforms.
  • Manage a creator ecosystem across TikTok, Fiverr and other UGC marketplaces - briefing, scheduling and QA to deliver consistent weekly output.
  • Run an always-on UGC program - sourcing, approving and repurposing creator content for both organic and paid use, tracking rights and performance.
  • Collaborate with PR, brand, and design teams to ensure social content reflects wider campaigns and Updraft’s brand story.
  • Drive earned engagement by producing and curating content that sparks comments, shares and conversation.
  • Own content ops - introduce file naming, tagging and version control so high-performing content can be easily found and reused.
  • Use data and analytics to refine creative direction, posting cadence and platform strategy.

What you’ll bring

  • Confident being on camera, and comfortable coaching others to be on camera too.
  • 4+ years creating and managing social content for a consumer brand, agency, or creator-led business.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple creators or freelancers and deliver high-volume, high-quality content.
  • Strong production skills - scripting, filming and editing short-form video (CapCut, Final Cut or similar).
  • Knowledge of internet culture, social trends and the mechanics of what performs on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Excellent organisational skills and a process-driven approach to managing creators, assets and approvals.
  • Familiarity with advertising standards, usage rights, and influencer disclosure rules.

How we’ll measure success

  • Growth in earned engagement (shares, saves, and conversation quality).
  • A steady UGC pipeline of ad-ready assets with clear rights and tagging.
  • Performance of UGC variants in paid campaigns compared with baselines.
  • Clean and organised asset library and workflow with measurable turnaround improvements.

You’ll thrive here if you

  • Believe in creativity that drives measurable outcomes.
  • Love turning creative chaos into a clean content machine.
  • Can balance producing your own videos with managing others.
  • Think like both a creator and a brand guardian.
