Contract: Permanent – 29.6 hours per week (0.8 FTE)

Salary: NSUP9‑12 – £26,244 – £27,031 pro rata (£20,995 – £21,624 actual)

Location: Newcastle College

Newcastle and Stafford Colleges Group (NSCG) is one of the very best colleges in the country. Main Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for all enquiries from students, parents and teachers.
  • Handle cash where appropriate complying with the College's Financial Regulations.
  • Support the Director of Academic Studies with the planning and coordination of A Level exams, assessments and mocks exams.
  • Assist the Director of Academic Studies and Group Heads of Curriculum with the planning of student timetables and tracking of enrolments.
  • Check data received from Information Services regarding student numbers, retention and achievement on course.

Required Skills And Experience:

  • Qualified to level 3 or equivalent in a relevant business admin field and willing to undertake professional development.
  • Previous experience in a varied administrative and secretarial role with outstanding organisational skills.
  • Confident manner with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and professionalism towards visitors and guests.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel and Access).
  • Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines.
