Data visualization developer with tableau experience job description
Key Responsibilities
Dashboard Development: Build, test, and publish interactive reports and dashboards using Tableau Desktop and Server.
Data Preparation: Connect to various data sources, write SQL queries, and perform data modelling, cleaning, and transformation.
Performance Tuning: Optimize dashboard loading speeds, manage Tableau extracts (Hyper files), and troubleshoot data issues.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Meet with business teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into visual solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Tableau (Desktop, Prep, Server/Cloud), strong SQL skills, and familiarity with relational databases or data warehouses (BigQuery, etc.).
Design & Storytelling: Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, visual best practices, and data storytelling.
Education: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: Typically 7+ years of professional experience in data visualization or business intelligence.
