UPB is working on behalf of a small, well-established architectural practice based in Doncaster, seeking an Assistant / Junior Architectural Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking for hands-on experience, close mentorship, and fast progression within a supportive studio environment.
The Role
You will work directly with the practice owner, gaining exposure across all project stages and learning how a successful architectural practice operates day-to-day. Over time, you will be supported to take ownership of your own projects, working with nationally recognised clients.
Responsibilities may include:
- Producing technical drawings and design information
- Assisting with planning and building regulation submissions
- Supporting project delivery across multiple stages
- Attending site and project meetings
- Coordinating with consultants and clients
About You
- Relevant qualification in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or a related discipline
- Some experience in an architectural practice (placement, graduate, or junior level)
- Working knowledge of CAD software and Revit experience
- Keen to learn, proactive, and confident communicating with others
- Ambition to progress and take on responsibility
