We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Refrigeration Engineer to join our Maintenance Team at Urban Pubs and Bars. If you have a passion for repairs and installations, with a great attitude then we would love to speak to you!

What's it all about: As a Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of all refrigeration and cooling equipment across our estate. This includes cellar cooling systems, ice machines, fridges, freezers, and walk-in cold rooms. You will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with current British Standards, F-Gas regulations, and company procedures, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency for our venues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of refrigeration systems including:
- Cellar cooling units
- Ice machines
- Display fridges and undercounter units
- Walk-in fridges and freezers
Skills & Qualifications:
Essential:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (or equivalent).
- F-Gas Category 1 certification (in-date).
- Full understanding of relevant British Standards and industry best practice.
- Proven experience with commercial refrigeration equipment.
- Valid UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience in the hospitality sector.
- Additional electrical qualifications (e.g., 17th/18th Edition).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
