About the Role

As our Home Care Team Leader, you'll be at the heart of service delivery, leading a dedicated team of Care Workers who provide exceptional, person-centred care to older Australians. You'll inspire and support your team to help clients remain safe, connected, independent, and living well at home. Working closely with the Home Care Service Manager, you'll play a key role in workforce planning, mentoring, service coordination, compliance, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach and support Care Workers to deliver outstanding care
  • Foster a positive, engaged and high-performing team culture
  • Coordinate rosters and manage workforce requirements
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff retention
  • Facilitate team meetings and professional development activities
  • Mentor new employees and support ongoing learning
  • Ensure compliance with Aged Care standards, policies and procedures
  • Conduct safety audits, risk assessments and promote safe work practices
  • Act as a trusted leader and role model across the service

About You

You're a compassionate leader who enjoys bringing out the best in people and making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. To Be Successful, You'll Bring:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services, Aged Care, or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience leading, supervising or mentoring teams
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Knowledge of Aged Care legislation and Quality Standards
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Current unrestricted Driver Licence
  • A commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement
