We build experienced, dynamic and fractional teams that fit in like puzzle pieces – providing just the right knowledge and energy at the right time. We’re not your typical agency or a one-man show; we\'re a team of passionate professionals who eat, sleep, and breathe branding and marketing.

Our diverse team covers all marketing mix elements, from performance and social media to web development and beyond. With over 200 brands under our belt, Brand Hackers have a treasure trove of shared experiences that fuel our creativity and give us the edge.

We’re 4 years old and have grown from just 2 of us to 24 full-time people and an extended family of incredible freelancers we work with a lot. We have some case studies we’re really proud of and a bit of a reputation (even if we say so ourselves).

We are always looking to build out our database of brilliant freelancers, so this is a speculative role to make sure we have the right people on our radar. We do get new briefs every day.

The Role: Social Media Manager

As a Social Media Manager at Brand Hackers, you will be obsessed with enhancing our brand partners’ digital presence by overseeing multiple brand accounts and steering them towards impactful growth. You’ll take responsibility for orchestrating strategic social media campaigns, optimising content creation, and nurturing online communities to help our brands achieve their goals. Alongside being social pro, you’ll have strong account management skills, impeccable communication skills, and a flair for identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement remarkable, results-driven social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and more that seamlessly integrate organic and paid social strategies.
  • Lead community management, ensuring prompt and meaningful interaction with followers, and driving brand engagement.
  • Spearhead influencer marketing campaigns to boost brand visibility and reach.
  • Analyse and report on social media metrics to measure success and inform future strategy.
  • Build exceptional relationships with clients, provide an incredible client experience, including handling challenging stakeholders and crafting compelling commercial arguments.
  • Bring a passion for startups and scale-ups, referencing examples of great brands using social to scale.

What you’ll have

  • Significant experience in social and influencer marketing, driving remarkable results particularly in high-growth or startup contexts.
  • Strategic vision and the ability to see the big picture while executing tactical plans.
  • Strong client management skills, with charisma and rapport-building at the core of your approach.
  • A desire to develop leadership skills with the ambition and ability to mentor junior team members.
  • A passion for creative excellence and a proven ability to craft high-performing social content.
  • The ability to use social data and analytics to inform and optimise strategies.
  • A real passion for startup marketing and an appreciation for how social media drives brand growth.

What we can give in return

This is a contract role, on a freelance basis, remote starting asap. We require all our team to be available to be in London at least one day every fortnight.

We make offers dependent on location and experience. Our brackets are brackets, so offers will be at all levels within the range.
