We\’re scaling quickly and with purpose. Currently, we’re delivering +50% year on year growth and our processes are straining to keep up! We are bringing in a Senior Operations Manager to set up up for scale.
The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Operations Manager to build rock-solid internal foundations and lead key processes across people, finance and day-to-day operations.
This role is about making sure the business runs smoothly behind the scenes: keeping the team empowered and aligned, our finances sharp, and our systems simple and scalable.
You’ll report directly to the Chief of Staff and play a central role in making the company stronger, faster and smarter as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
Team & People Operations

Oversee recruitment processes from job spec to onboarding, ensuring an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience

Own and improve onboarding and offboarding processes that drive clarity, efficiency and cultural consistency

Maintain and evolve performance review cycles, objective-setting frameworks

Work closely with leadership to build a healthy, high-performance culture
Finance & Commercial Operations

Manage day-to-day financial operations in partnership with our bookkeeper and accountant (e.g. invoicing, expenses, contractor payments)

Lead internal budget management, forecasting and cashflow tracking

Ensure client contracts, scopes and pricing models are clearly documented and aligned with commercial goals

Monitor project profitability and operational KPIs to support business decisions

Work closely with the Brand Hackers Operations team to build new financial processes
Strategic Operations & Leadership

Translate strategic plans into operational priorities and internal actions

Lead set up and deliver of OKRs across the business

Ensure compliance and data protection obligations are met and well documented
Process & Tools

Lead implementation and team adoption of tools and systems that help us scale, from Slack workflows to integration of AI
About You
You may have been called an Operations Lead , Finance Manager, Finance Lead, Head of Ops , People & Ops Manager in a previous role. Titles aside, you\’re someone who brings structure to growth.

You’ll be extremely comfortable managing Finance operations for a business of £5 million revenue plus

You’ve worked in startup or agency environments

You’re a strategic thinker and pragmatic doer, equally happy planning big projects or fixing small glitches

You make things easier, faster, clearer, and you’re always thinking about how to improve

You’re proactive, sensitive in your communication, and collaborative by nature

You are a Slack native and very used to asynchronous working at pace

You think in automations and AI, not as an afterthought but the assumed way

You’re confident working independently and prioritising across multiple areas of the business
