Borough Broth began in 2015 with a simple idea: make proper, organic bone broth the way it should be made. Everything we cook is slow simmered for 24 hours, using high quality British ingredients from farmers who care about their land. Our broths are wholesome, flavourful and convenient without cutting corners on nutrition or quality. We believe good food should do good too. Every broth we make is crafted with care, supporting local farmers and nourishing our community. We’re proud to be a certified B Corp, and we put purpose at the heart of what we do. Our founder, Ros, is also a mentor for Ocado’s Roots programme, helping support the next generation of sustainable food brands.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Video Producer with their finger closely on the pulse of social and content trends to join our growing marketing team. This role is for someone with an instinct for what performs well, a high aesthetic standard, and the hands-on skills to shoot and edit content that stops the scroll. You’ll own end-to-end content creation for Borough Broth: from ideation and scripting through to shooting and editing. Your foundation is in food and recipe content, but you won’t stop there – you’ll help bring to life the broader Borough Broth world: our farmers, our ethos, our craft, our community.

Reporting into the Head of Content and working alongside our Social & Community Executive, you’ll be a core part of a small, ambitious content team producing social-first creative across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and beyond. This is a hands-on role for someone who can execute brilliantly and understands what great looks like.

If you are a creative storyteller with a genuine passion for food, social media and connecting people through content – this role is for you.

What you’ll do…

  • CONTENT CREATION
    • Plan, shoot and edit high-quality short-form video and static content for social platforms – primarily Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
    • Create recipe content that is visually compelling, saveable, shareable, and true to the Borough Broth aesthetic.
    • Go beyond food to tell broader brand stories – farm and supplier visits, behind-the-scenes at our factory, value-loaded content and creative that fosters community.
    • Drive high utilisation of our existing bank of brand content, editing b-roll into fresh new formats.
    • Bring creative responses to strategic briefs and have the craft to execute them from concept to delivery.
  • SOCIAL & TRENDS
    • Stay genuinely close to what’s happening across social platforms – formats, audio, creators, cultural moments – and apply it with taste and relevance.
    • Feed into content calendar planning, contributing ideas and ensuring content fits the wider posting rhythm across platforms.
    • Work with head of content to take platform insights and trend data to evolve creative approach and keep Borough Broth ahead of the curve.
  • BRAND & COLLABORATION
    • Maintain Borough Broth’s visual identity and tone of voice across channels.
    • Collaborate with the wider marketing team (Brand, CRM & PR) on campaigns, seasonal moments, and product launches.
    • Contribute to creative discussions and ideation – acting as a key creative voice within the marketing team.
    • Brief and give feedback to freelancers and external collaborators when needed.

Your first 12 months:

  • 3 months - Immerse yourself in the Borough Broth world. Get across our content strategy, pillars and visual identity and begin producing content as you start to establish your rhythm within the team.
  • 6 months - Proactively own your content output and workflow with confidence. Your work is consistent, on-brand, and performing – and you’re actively bringing fresh ideas to the table that push Borough Broth’s social presence forward.
  • 12 months - You’re a trusted creative voice in the team. Your content is helping grow our community, drive brand love, and setting Borough Broth apart in the category – with a diverse body of work to be genuinely proud of.

Who we are looking for:

  • Clearly confident shooting on iPhone and on DSLR and editing content in Premiere Pro, CapCut, or equivalent.
  • A strong portfolio of social-first content with food, FMCG, or lifestyle brands.
  • Hands on experience in producing content shoots from location scouting to storyboarding and shot lists to running the schedule on the day.
  • Platform experience across Instagram and TikTok, with a deep understanding of trends and formats.
  • Experience working within brand guidelines and to a clear visual identity.
  • Strong copywriting instincts and an ear for brand voice and tone.
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills.
  • A genuine passion for sustainability, quality food, and purposeful brands.

Who you are

  • You love content and social media genuinely, not just professionally.
  • You have a strong visual eye and a high level of aesthetic taste. Your portfolio reflects it.
  • You have a background in food or recipe content creation, but you’re just as excited to tell bigger brand stories beyond the kitchen.
  • You’re energised by the idea of building a standout food brand with purpose.
  • You’re a self-starter who can take a brief and run with it – organised, collaborative, and open to feedback.

What We Offer

  • A genuinely creative role with real ownership from day one.
  • A fast-growing company and team with a meaningful mission to deliver sustainable and nourishing food.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career growth.
  • Competitive salary, benefits, and bonus potential.
