We’re Unplugged, and we’re on a mission to help busy people switch off from the noise of modern life. Our off‑grid cabins across the UK invite guests to disconnect from tech, reconnect with themselves, and recharge offline. No Wi‑Fi, no notifications, no doomscrolling. Just three days of real rest.

We’ve grown to 50 cabins with an 85%+ occupancy, set to double this number in 2026, plus already have an audience of over 250K on social media channels. Now we’re looking for a creative powerhouse to help us tell our story and OWN the growth of our online presence (in a valuable and meaningful way). We’re looking for someone who is plugged into content and social media, but wants to use platforms for change and positive storytelling to make our digital landscape a little greener. We want you to love the art of storytelling and brand building to inspire people everywhere to spend less time on their devices.

What You’ll Be Owning

This isn’t just about making content, it’s about owning the whole show (with support from the Head of Marketing). You’ll manage Unplugged’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn — what we put out, how it looks, when it lands, and how people engage with it. From a thoughtful carousel announcing a new cabin to a big influencer content drop or behind‑the‑scenes cabin shoot—you’ll be across every detail.

You’re equal parts creative producer, storyteller, and executor — the kind of person who can turn a spark of an idea into a live post with quick turnaround. You bring great energy, a meticulous eye, and a bias toward action.

We’re a small team punching way above our weight. And so, we’re looking for someone who’s been in the viral trenches, has made content go big, and now wants to channel that energy into a brand that’s genuinely doing something good for the world.

We’ve experimented with freelancers and formats, and now we’re ready for a single creative owner to bring consistency, taste, and momentum to our social presence.

More specifically, you will:

  • Own the full social machine. You’ll plan, produce, and post content across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, balancing scheduled storytelling with in‑the‑moment ideas.
  • Create, produce, edit. You’re hands‑on with content—from ideation to scripting, even shooting, and editing. You’ll manage freelance editors and creators when needed but can just as easily make it yourself.
  • Work with creators and partners. Working with our Influencers and Partnerships Manager, you’ll help guide what content you need and make sure we’re getting the best content out of our partnerships.
  • Keep the brand alive online. You’ll learn Unplugged’s tone of voice and bring it to life across every post, caption, and comment.
  • Bring campaigns to life. You’ll work with our marketing team and creative agency to produce scroll‑stopping, shareable campaigns that drive both brand love and bookings.
  • Measure, learn, repeat. You’ll track engagement, growth, and content performance, testing new formats and feeding those insights back into the next round.
  • Get out in the wild. You’ll stay at cabins, join the operations team for cabin set‑ups and get out in the wild to record content.
  • Test and learn. There’s no such thing as failure, just lessons. You will test new things, monitor performance and learn from them.

Success in this role is a steady stream of people saying, “I saw Unplugged on TikTok, and I want to go.” Our goal is to use social media to help get more people off social media. We want to make high‑quality content that really inspires people to get offline and spend time in nature, with the people they love, and with themselves. The ideal candidate is motivated by this mission as much as by the creative work itself.

Also

  • Consistent, high‑quality content output across all channels
  • Rising engagement rate and audience growth
  • Strong creator collaborations that feel natural and on‑brand

What We’re Looking For

  • A storyteller first and foremost. You can craft a narrative in one caption, one frame, or one campaign. You love words, and growing brands with your content.
  • A content all‑rounder. You’ve done both short‑form and long‑form content.
  • Social native. You live and breathe social. You know Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn inside out.
  • Fast and flexible. You can juggle a content calendar and jump on a trend when something viral hits.
  • Hands‑on doer. You don’t wait for a brief — you see a story worth telling and make it happen. You are an executor!
  • Hospitality, health, or lifestyle brand experience is a bonus (you get what it means to make a brand feel human and inviting).

Salary: up to £50,000 DOE

Logistics: Monday & Friday in London office

What else?

  • Free Unplugged cabin stays throughout the year
  • WeWork All Access membership (hybrid means flexible, not lonely)
  • Small, ambitious team where your ideas shape the brand
