The Business:
Over the past year, we’ve grown quickly. Across Brand Hackers, Up World and Up Talent, we’ve grown our team, expanded our client base, and increased the pace of the business significantly. Now we’re entering the next phase. We’re focused on strengthening the foundations and building how the business operates as we scale. That means improving our systems, reporting and processes so the business runs more smoothly, decisions are better informed, and everything scales effectively. Some things are already working well, others are still being built. This role sits right in the middle of that.
You won’t just be running processes, you’ll be helping to build how we operate. That could mean anything from owning accounts receivable to building automations to remove manual work, and exploring how we can use AI tools and agents to improve how we run the business. You’ll work closely with the leadership team, see how decisions are made in real time, and play a key role in improving how the business runs day to day. It’s a high ownership environment, but you’ll be supported as you learn. You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity and moving quickly, and in return you’ll build experience across finance, operations and systems. This is a role for someone who wants to learn fast, get stuck in, and grow with the business.
Role:
We’re looking for a Finance & Operations Executive to support finance, reporting and operational processes across the business. This is a broad role that will suit someone who enjoys variety, loves improving processes, is comfortable working across multiple systems and can keep lots of moving pieces organised. This role will sit centrally and provide support across the three businesses, including finance administration, commercial operations and business systems. In practice, this person will help reduce the amount of operational admin currently sitting across the senior team, while also helping improve reporting, process consistency and day‑to‑day execution.
Responsibilities:
- Owning day‑to‑day finance administration, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Supporting recurring finance and operational reporting across the business.
- Assisting with commercial operations processes across HubSpot, Xero and other systems.
- Helping maintain data accuracy across multiple platforms and reports.
- Supporting the production of weekly and monthly reports.
- Managing recurring admin tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Identifying process gaps, inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Supporting automation projects and helping implement new systems and processes.
- Using AI tools to improve productivity, automate tasks and reduce manual admin.
- Helping document processes and build clear SOPs.
- Supporting project coordination across multiple workstreams.
- Working closely with the Finance and Operations Manager and other stakeholders to keep key operational priorities moving.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years experience in finance operations, revenue operations, business operations or a similar role.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity or automate tasks.
- Comfortable working across spreadsheets, reporting and multiple systems.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and process compliance.
- Confidence managing multiple priorities and following through on tasks.
- Proactive, self‑motivated and comfortable working independently.
- Strong working knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment where priorities can change.
- Comfortable working across a mix of finance, reporting, operational support and process improvement.
- Able to spot issues, suggest improvements and follow through on actions.
Benefits:
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE. Logistics: Remote‑first (roaming). 25 days holiday plus.
