About the role

This is an exciting time for our charity! Our new strategy focuses on growth and long‑term sustainability, with ambitious plans to extend our reach and impact nationally and to expand and diversify our services. A role within our SaLT team offers the opportunity to transform children’s life chances through a truly tailored and child‑centred approach. SaLTs support children with mild to moderate social communication needs and, for more complex cases, we also offer EHCP work.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments.
  • Deliver high‑quality clinical work.
  • Support impact measurement and service development by ensuring accurate notes and data records, and providing quality reports.
  • Safeguard is a key priority throughout all aspects of the work.
  • Work independently and flexibly across a range of London schools and boroughs during school term‑time, with four additional weeks during holidays allocated to non‑clinical work (report writing, administration, CPD, etc.).
  • Build positive relationships within varied school teams and cultures.

Qualifications

  • SaLTs who have recently passed their competencies.
  • More experienced SaLTs – responsibilities will be in line with levels of experience.
  • Motivated to work in an innovative and collaborative way, valuing multidisciplinary team working to achieve the best possible outcomes for children and their families.
