- Accurately handle cash and process payments
- Keep the store organised, well-stocked, and welcoming
- Work as part of a tight-knit team in a fast-paced retail environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Retail experience is a must – if you’ve worked in a busy store before, you’ll fit right in - we prefer a minimum of 2 years prior retail experience
- A positive attitude, great communication skills, and a genuine passion for customer service
- Post Office experience is great, but not essential – we’ll give you full training
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail – accuracy matters!
- The right to work in the UK for at least 12 months from your start date
- The ability to lift and carry up to 12kg (those parcels don’t move themselves!)
- You must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check
What We Offer:
Full-time, permanent role with competitive pay & government recommended pension.
Comprehensive training – no Post Office experience needed
Fast-track career progression – we love to promote from within.
A fun, friendly, and supportive team environment.
This branch operates 7 days a week, so you\'ll be expected to work some weekend shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
You may also be asked occasionally to work in a store within 15-30 minutes travel from this location to cover staff leave and sickness.
