I’m working with an established business looking for a Marketing and Communications Executive to join their team in Croydon.
This is a varied, hands-on opportunity for someone with ideally one to two years’ B2B marketing experience who enjoys writing, creating content and getting involved across a business.
You’ll work closely with the marketing and communications team, turning projects, company news and customer stories into engaging content. There’s plenty of scope to bring ideas, take ownership and develop your experience.
The role
- Create content for the website, social media, case studies, project updates and internal communications.
- Build relationships across the business to gather information and identify stories, including through visits to project locations.
- Coordinate photography and video, briefing external suppliers and selecting imagery.
- Help deliver the staff newsletter, sourcing contributions and managing deadlines and approvals.
- Keep website content fresh and support social media scheduling, engagement and performance reviews.
- Produce presentations, brochures and marketing materials, keeping branding consistent.
- Support company and client events, promotional activity and award submissions.
- Keep marketing plans and content records organised, following up on actions and keeping the team updated.
About you
- You’ll ideally have experience in a B2B marketing environment, creating content that helps a business communicate its services, demonstrate its expertise and engage customers.
- Strong writing skills are important, along with the confidence to speak to different people, ask questions and turn information into clear, engaging content.
- You’ll be organised, have good attention to detail and be comfortable managing several tasks. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative and enjoys contributing ideas.
- Experience with social media and Microsoft Office is essential. Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools would be useful, alongside an interest in photography, video and visual storytelling.
- A relevant degree or marketing qualification is welcome, but practical experience and the quality of your work are just as important.
If you’re looking for a varied B2B marketing role where you can contribute and develop, I’d like to hear from you.
