The Role
Working alongside experienced sales and technical teams, you’ll play a key role in generating new business opportunities and opening doors with prospective customers across a range of industries. You’ll be responsible for building relationships with key decision-makers, identifying opportunities and creating a strong pipeline for the wider sales team. This role is ideally suited to someone who enjoys the challenge of new business development and wants to develop into a future Account Manager, Business Development Manager or Cyber Security Sales Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting
- Engage with senior decision-makers across private sector organisations
- Research and identify target accounts and key stakeholders
- Build outreach campaigns via phone, email and LinkedIn
- Book qualified meetings for senior sales consultants
- Maintain CRM records and manage pipeline activity
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on lead generation initiatives
- Develop knowledge of cyber security, managed services and cloud solutions
- Contribute towards individual and team revenue targets
About You
- Experience within Business Development, SDR, BDR, Internal Sales or Lead Generation
- Previous experience within the IT, Technology, Managed Services or Cyber Security sector
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers
- Commercially minded and target driven
- Proactive, resilient and self-motivated
- Experience using LinkedIn and CRM platforms for prospecting
