Unyk Solutions are working with a well-established tech distributor who are continuing to invest in their cyber offering and are now looking to bring in a Vendor Sales Manager to help drive it forward. This is a hands-on, commercial role where you'll take ownership of a number of cyber vendors, helping grow their presence across the UK channel and building out a strong pipeline.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building relationships with MSPs, VARs and channel partners
  • Growing and developing existing partner accounts
  • Bringing on new partners and getting them engaged
  • Creating opportunities through meetings, demos, trials and projects
  • Working closely with internal sales and marketing teams to move deals forward
  • Supporting campaigns, events and partner activity
  • Managing pipeline, forecasts and activity through CRM

You’ll also be keeping a close eye on the market and spotting where the real opportunities are across areas like endpoint, cloud, identity and wider cyber solutions.

What they’re looking for:

This role would suit someone with a background in account management within the IT sales channel who’s looking to step into something with more ownership and growth. Ideally you’ll have:

  • Experience in account management within IT sales / the channel
  • Exposure to MSPs, VARs or tech partners
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to spot and develop opportunities
  • Confidence building relationships and having sales conversations
  • Good organisation and pipeline management
  • An interest in cyber security would be a big plus, but not essential.

What you’ll get:

  • £30,000 - £35,000 base + commission
  • Hybrid working (Basingstoke office and home/field)
  • A clear route into the cyber security space
  • A role where you can genuinely build something and progress

If you’re in IT channel sales and want to move into something with more ownership and exposure to cyber, this is a good step.
