Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Head Chef with overall running of a fast-paced kitchen
  • Manage stock levels in line with set targets
  • Stock checking and ordering in Head Chef’s absence
  • Contribute to Menu development alongside the Head Chef
  • Assist in the monitoring of food quality and hygiene standards
  • Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times

The Person

  • 2 years minimum experience as a chef in a busy kitchen
  • Monday – Sunday full availability required (45 hours per week)
  • Must be able to reliably commute to The Highlander
  • Have a genuine passion for food and high standards
  • Knowledge of pro cooking techniques and food safety standards
  • Be able to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
  • Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations

Receive a share of gratuity payments on a monthly basis.
