What will you be doing?

Technical Project Manager
Hybrid – Basingstoke or Dorking 2-3 days a week minimum
Salary – £55,000 – £65,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to apply their extensive knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to manage cross-functional technical projects involving business applications and end user and infrastructure solutions. You must be able to confidently discuss the technologies underpinning the project scope.

The ideal candidate will utilise advanced project management skills and a deep understanding of enterprise technologies to oversee assigned projects. They will consult with business leaders to transform project ideas into well-defined projects with clear goals, objectives, and scope. Additionally, they will identify necessary resources, negotiate with people managers to assemble a project team, and ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.

Project activities include setting clear and achievable goals, planning and guiding people to meet these goals, balancing quality, scope, time, and cost, and adapting to the concerns and expectations of stakeholders. Additionally, it involves developing and using communication and reporting methods to handle issues, risks, and ensure timely delivery of results.

To be successful in this role you must have extensive experience of delivery technical projects, and project management tools and demonstrate exceptional ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment. Additionally, you should have strong influential and communication skills.

Please note internally the job title for this role is Senior IT Project Manager.
