The role
Unum is a leading provider of employee benefits, and we’re growing fast. To support that growth, we’re expanding our marketing capabilities and sharpening our focus on segmentation, personalisation, and customer experience.
We are looking for a Web Performance and Optimisation Specialist to play a key role in supporting the delivery of our digital marketing and web optimisation activities on unum.co.uk. This is a hands-on role focused on execution, requiring strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search visibility and organic performance.
- Assist with Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives to enhance user engagement and conversions.
- Maintain and update website content to ensure alignment with marketing objectives and brand standards.
- Assist the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and digital marketing agency with the definition and implementation of a revised information architecture for unum.co.uk to provide an optimal user experience while delivering against business objectives.
- Support day-to-day updates and maintenance of unum.co.uk to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor website performance and conduct research activities to identify improvement opportunities.
- Follow best practices and implement recommended enhancements to improve user journeys.
- Support backlog and sprint planning in line with marketing objectives while ensuring adherence to WCAG AA accessibility standards.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong technical skills with a focus on execution and attention to detail.
- Experience in website content management and implementing SEO best practices.
- Exposure or experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Kontent.AI) is advantageous.
