The role
What will you be doing? National Sales Manager – Strategic Accounts Home based – Travel to client sites/Unum offices required. Unum UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to join our Strategic Accounts Team. This a key role focused on strengthening senior-level broker relationships and driving strategic growth across our distribution channels.
This person will work closely with the Head of Strategic Accounts, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing our strategic initiatives. You’ll collaborate closely with senior leaders across the Distribution function to foster a culture of continuous improvement, talent development, and alignment with Unum’s corporate strategy.
As a leader, you will be responsible for coaching and motivating your team to achieve their full potential, ensuring individual and team targets are consistently met. You’ll also work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure a cohesive and connected approach to delivering business goals. This is a home-based role, with some requirement to travel to our Dorking office and other client sites customer experience for Unum’s key brokers or clients.

- Proven leadership experience in third-party sales, with strong coaching and people management skills.
