What will you be doing? Purpose: The Strategy Manager is a senior individual contributor responsible for shaping and delivering key elements of Unum UK’s strategy. Working in close partnership with the Strategy & Transformation Director, the role leads high-impact strategic analysis, priority initiatives and executive-ready outputs, including monitoring the external market and generating competitor insight. The role operates with a high degree of autonomy across defined strategic areas, without direct line management responsibility, and plays a key role in enabling the effectiveness and pace of the wider strategy agenda. This role also manages and supports various strategic projects working closely with SMEs and leaders.

Working closely with the Strategy & Transformation Director, you’ll bring the outside world into Unum, identifying emerging trends, spotting opportunities and risks, and helping senior leaders make confident, evidence-based decisions that shape our future direction.
