We are looking for a Senior Brand Designer to lead the shaping and elevation of Unum UK’s visual identity, ensuring our brand is digital-first, unified and consistently expressed across all customer touchpoints. This is a highly creative role with strategic influence, working closely with internal teams and external agencies to bring our brand to life through compelling, customer-focused visual design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, shape and evolve Unum UK’s visual identity, ensuring it is distinctive, digital-first and aligned with brand values and business objectives.
- Design and deliver high-quality brand assets across channels, translating strategic concepts into impactful visual executions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and third-party agencies.
- Set and maintain the creative direction for brand assets, ensuring concepts align with Unum’s visual identity, UX principles and customer journey requirements.
- Ensure brand consistency and excellence across all touchpoints, from digital platforms to campaigns and events.
- Act as a visual brand guardian, providing guidance and creative direction to ensure best practice design standards are met.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong capability in visual design, including typography, layout, colour, photography and animation, delivering engaging designs across multiple channels.
- Proven experience in brand design, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating creative impact and successful projects.
- Advanced proficiency in design tools including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma for digital-first asset creation.
- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality creative output.
- A strong eye for detail, with the ability to balance creativity with commercial and brand objectives.
