The role
Location: Hybrid (London or Dorking with at least 1 day in Dorking per week)
Unum UK is seeking a Senior Actuarial Reporting Manager to join our team. In this influential position, you’ll use a breadth of technical knowledge to review, analyse and challenge Solvency II and other financial results. You will also manage key stakeholder relationships and prepare key communications (including Board reports).
What you’ll do
- Lead review and challenge of Solvency II reporting, including capital forecasting and stress and scenario testing.
- Provide oversight across US GAAP and UK GAAP, including input to business planning.
- Analyse balance sheet results and deliver clear insight to inform business and capital decisions.
- Prepare and present Board and senior committee reports, supporting key stakeholder engagement.
- Lead regulatory change, process improvement and coach actuarial team members while managing key assurance relationships.

- A qualified actuary with strong experience and insurance industry knowledge.
- An excellent communicator with strong analytical, problem-solving and IT skills.
- Confident managing multiple priorities and introducing new ideas.
