The role
We are looking for a Head of Risk to join the team and play a key role in shaping, overseeing, and continuously improving our risk management capability across the UK business. In this senior leadership role, you’ll work closely with our CRO to deliver independent oversight, challenge, and insight across financial and non-financial risks. You’ll lead the development and execution of our Risk Management Framework, oversee Internal Model governance and validation, and provide expert guidance to Boards, Committees, and senior leaders. You’ll champion strong risk culture, drive high-quality reporting, lead ORSA activity, and ensure our approach meets regulatory expectations including Solvency UK and PRA requirements. You’ll also manage and develop our Risk team, building strong relationships and influencing decision-making across the organisation.
About You
- Qualified Actuary with extensive UK financial services risk experience
- Strong knowledge of Solvency II, ORSA, Internal Model, and risk governance
- Experienced leader with excellent communication and stakeholder skills
- Analytical, proactive, and comfortable challenging at senior levels
