The role
Hybrid – 3 days a week in Dorking office or Basingstoke/Dorking hybrid. Unum is a leading provider of employee benefits, and we’re growing fast. To support that growth, we’re expanding our marketing capabilities and sharpening our focus on segmentation, personalisation, and customer experience.
We are looking for a B2B Marketing Manager to create high-impact marketing plans that transform how Unum connects with its most valuable broker and customer accounts. You will lead a team of two direct reports to execute data-driven campaigns and contact strategies that deliver measurable results. Together, you’ll turn insights into action and help us achieve our ambitious growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the implementation of Account Based Marketing strategies and campaigns to drive acquisition, retention, digital adoption, and engagement objectives.
- Lead the use of data analytics and customer insights to optimise segmentation and deliver measurable business impact.
- Own reporting and performance tracking for ABM campaigns, providing clear insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong people leadership capabilities and behaviours, with experience in people management and coaching strongly desired.
- A data-driven decision-maker who thrives on turning insights into action.
- Proven experience embedding Account Based Marketing and/or highly targeted B2B marketing strategies.
- Strong understanding of segmentation, personalisation, and customer journey mapping.
