The Role
Senior Operational Readiness Manager to deliver strategic leadership in the design and execution of operational readiness strategies, building and embedding a scalable model so Group Policy Servicing operations and delivery teams are equipped for future-focused operational changes.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational readiness plans aligned with the business strategy and future growth.
- Lead and manage high-performing teams, ensuring capability and competence across all roles.
- Lead change management efforts, enabling successful adoption.
- Assess critical operational areas, ensure testing coverage and effective risk mitigation.
- Monitor and report metrics post-implementation, measure effectiveness and identify improvement areas.

Unum UK is looking for a Senior Operational Readiness Manager to deliver strategic leadership in the design and execution of operational readiness strategies, driving changes to support the overarching strategy. Strong strategic thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to build relationships across all levels and functions are essential.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams, ensuring capability and competence.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies for seamless adoption and transition.
- Experience in process optimisation, scalability and efficiency improvements.
- Expertise in system deployment and process integration, ensuring continuity and minimal disruption.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory and internal compliance standards, including risk management frameworks.
