The role is for a Website Performance Executive – Hybrid (3 days a week in Dorking office). Salary circa £50,000 per annum + benefits.

What will you bring? We are looking for a Website Performance Executive to play a key role in supporting the delivery of our digital marketing and web optimisation activities on unum.co.uk. The role focuses on implementing improvements across content, performance, accessibility and user journeys, working closely with senior stakeholders who set strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement agreed SEO best practices and technical recommendations in collaboration with our digital agency.
  • Implement and support Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) changes such as page updates, content variations, journey improvements and testing outputs.
  • Maintain and update website content to ensure alignment with marketing objectives and brand standards.
  • Assist the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and digital marketing agency with the definition and implementation of a revised information architecture for unum.co.uk to provide an optimal user experience while delivering against business objectives.
  • Support day-to-day updates and maintenance of unum.co.uk to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Monitor website performance and conduct research activities to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Follow best practices and implement recommended enhancements to improve user journeys.
  • Support backlog and sprint planning in line with marketing objectives while ensuring adherence to WCAG AA accessibility standards.
Skills & Experience
  • Strong technical skills with a focus on execution and attention to detail.
  • Experience in website content management and implementing SEO best practices.
  • Exposure or experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Kontent.AI) is advantageous.
