What will you bring?
We are looking for a Web Performance and Optimisation Specialist to play a key role in supporting the delivery of our digital marketing and web optimisation activities on unum.co.uk. This is a hands‑on role focused on execution, requiring strong technical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement SEO best practices to improve search visibility and organic performance.
- Assist with Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO) initiatives to enhance user engagement and conversions.
- Maintain and update website content to ensure alignment with marketing objectives and brand standards.
- Assist the Senior Digital Marketing Manager and digital marketing agency with the definition and implementation of a revised information architecture for unum.co.uk to provide an optimal user experience while delivering against business objectives.
- Support day‑to‑day updates and maintenance of unum.co.uk to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Monitor website performance and conduct research activities to identify improvement opportunities.
- Follow best practices and implement recommended enhancements to improve user journeys.
- Support backlog and sprint planning in line with marketing objectives while ensuring adherence to WCAG AA accessibility standards.
Skills & Experience
- Strong technical skills with a focus on execution and attention to detail.
- Experience in website content management and implementing SEO best practices.
- Exposure or experience with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Kontent.AI) is advantageous.
