As we continue to scale and deliver next-generation aircraft seating, we're looking for a Quality Inspector to help ensure our products consistently meet the highest engineering, customer, and aerospace regulatory standards. This is a hands-on role where precision, compliance, and collaboration are key.

What you'll do in this role as our Quality Inspector:

  • Conduct inspection activities across incoming goods, in-process manufacturing, and final product release.
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections using a range of inspection equipment and measurement techniques.
  • Support and complete First Article Inspection (FAI) activities in line with AS9102 requirements.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to verify product conformity.
  • Record inspection results accurately and maintain structured quality documentation and traceability records.
  • Raise and support investigations into non-conformances, ensuring issues are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns and support corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality management standards and internal quality procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, process capability, and inspection efficiency.
  • Assist with calibration control and the proper use and care of inspection equipment where required.

What we're looking for in a Quality Inspector:

  • Experience within an aerospace or precision manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of inspection techniques and quality assurance processes.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Proficiency in the use of inspection tools and measurement equipment.
  • High attention to detail with a structured and methodical approach to documentation.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confident communicator able to collaborate across engineering, quality, and production teams.

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience with First Article Inspection (FAI).
  • Good working knowledge of AS9102 and AS9100 standards.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience using digital inspection records or ERP/MRP systems within manufacturing.
