As we continue to scale and deliver next-generation aircraft seating, we're looking for a Material Handler / Production Materials Controller to support the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring production teams receive the right materials at the right time, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting the smooth execution of production schedules.

What You'll Do in This Role as our Materials Handler

  • Warehouse Operations
    • Pick materials and components accurately against production works orders.
    • Prepare and stage materials ready for production use.
    • Receive, inspect, and store incoming stock safely and accurately.
    • Carry out stock transfers and inventory transactions using company systems.
    • Ensure materials are correctly stored, identified, and readily accessible.
  • Production Support
    • Review production picklists and works orders to support manufacturing schedules.
    • Ensure works orders are fully kitted before release to production.
    • Identify material shortages and escalate issues to the relevant teams.
    • Support production personnel with material requests and urgent requirements.
    • Help prioritise material picking activities in line with production demands.
  • Stock Control
    • Participate in cycle counts and periodic stock takes.
    • Report stock discrepancies, damaged materials, and inventory issues.
    • Support investigations into stock shortages and inventory variances.
    • Assist with maintaining accurate stock records within ERP and inventory systems.
  • General Responsibilities
    • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and workplace safety.
    • Follow all company health, safety, quality, and operational procedures.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and production operations.
    • Work collaboratively with Production, Procurement, Quality, and Stores teams to ensure material availability and stock accuracy.
