We have a great opportunity to join a high performing team working from our Central region and based at our head office in Solihull on a permanent contract. Internally, this post is called Production Controller. As a Production Controller you will support the construction teams and Senior Managers in the administration and compliance for all new homes building sites within the region.

Duties will include:

  • Undertake and maintain diary management and meeting scheduling.
  • Ordering all site uniforms, IT and stationery.
  • Assist with the collation/binding of documentation for the Contractor Reports.
  • Planning and co-ordination – supporting organising site meetings & training.
  • Upkeep of all holiday forms and chart and identifying cover risks.
  • Co-ordination of purchase orders.
  • Support with recruitment and agency usage.
  • Supporting inductions for all levels of site team.
  • NHBC and CCS registrations.
  • Compile and maintain plot files to ensure all documentation is available to enable practical completion, along with daily electronic filing of site documentation.
  • Collation/input of Build and Sales information.
  • File plot sign-off sheets and record accordingly.
  • General Administration and office support.

We’re looking for the following skills and experience:

  • Numeracy and literacy
  • Experience of IT systems or project management tools
  • Professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills
  • Previous construction industry experience preferred but not essential
  • Understanding of quality and health & safety in the workplace
  • Full UK driving license
