We have a new opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join our team working from our Eastern region, based from our Bedford office and leading developments in the area.

It's a fantastic time to join the company as we continue to move towards dual branded sites, with Tilia and Hopkins Homes.

Our Contracts Managers manage the delivery of residential housing developments to company standard, ensuring that targets are met regarding Health and Safety, the delivery to build programme, quality, customer care, and cost.

Duties include

  • Drive the region to build our Brands (Tilia Homes and Hopkins Homes) to the highest of standards
  • Ensure service delivery reinforces untypical Values and ensure alignment of change with untypical vision and strategy
  • Develop and deploy Service Plans and Key Work Objectives to meet ongoing and changing needs of stakeholders, clients and customers
  • Ensure plans and processes are in place to prioritise and delegate workloads to achieve contract objectives
  • Participate in contract reviews with Senior Management and Directors
  • Ensure service delivery meets financial targets and operates within the agreed budget
  • Provide excellent customer service to site visitors and local community
  • Ensure generation of accurate management, financial and performance information consistent with reporting requirements
  • Ensure staff development and improvement plans are in place
  • Ensure staff performance and reward is managed through performance conversations, including setting out clear key work objectives aligned with the Service Plan
  • Identify, enable and deliver cultural change and positive behaviours

We're looking for the following skills and experience

  • NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Manager or equivalent
  • CSCS – Black Management/White Academic
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work
  • BREGS or willingness to achieve in probation period
  • Fire Safety for low-rise flats and housing or willingness to achieve during probationary period
  • Proven record of overseeing a programme of residential development
  • Managing Contractor agreements and liaising with Contractor Supervisors
  • Proven experience of achieving PFI contractual requirements, KPIs and client/stakeholder requirements and contract deliverables
  • Hold a Full UK Drivers Licence
