Role Description

This is a remote Music Industry Sales role responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the company’s presence across labels, artists, managers, and other music industry partners. On a day-to-day basis, the Music Industry Sales professional will identify and qualify leads, conduct outreach via email, calls, and virtual meetings, and present Untold Story Music Group’s services and offerings to prospective clients. The role includes building and managing a sales pipeline, preparing proposals and closing new and repeat business opportunities. The individual will collaborate with marketing and production teams to align sales efforts with release strategies, campaigns, and artist development plans. Regular tasks also include maintaining accurate CRM records, tracking performance against sales targets, and providing feedback on market trends and client needs to help shape future services.

Note: This is a commission only role with bonuses and high earning potential based on performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in working in a remote fast paced environment and a self starter attitude required.
  • Background in Music, Music Performance, or Music Education is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven sales, business development, or account management experience is preferred.
  • It's essential to have excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term professional relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, virtual meeting platforms, and basic productivity software (e.g., spreadsheets, slide presentations, email tools).
