We are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives at our Northampton Depot within the Muller Milk and Ingredients Distribution Business. The purpose of the role is to manually pack milk into trolleys and move and empty them across the Chill. Working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining knowledge of products and processes involved in the day-to-day delivery of goods.

Contract – Full Time / Permanent

Location – Northampton Depot – NN9 6NY

Shifts – 5 on 2 off, Night shift: 19:00-03:30, Tuesday to Saturday shift (rest days Sun/Mon)

Rate of Pay:

  • Base rate: £12.66 per hour (plus below premiums)
  • 1.5× Overtime: £18.99 per hour
  • 1.25× Saturday: £15.83 per hour
  • 1.5× Sunday: £18.99 per hour
  • 23% uplift for unsociable hours worked between 6PM – 4AM: additional £2.91 per hour

Warehouse Operative Role & Responsibilities

  • Load and unload inbound and outbound vehicles.
  • Rotate stock and check date codes.
  • Follow SOPs, work instructions, risk assessments and PMS.
  • Maintain quality control to meet customer and product standards.
  • Uphold hygiene and environmental standards (clean as you go).
  • Operate equipment efficiently to meet required output.
  • Replenish materials as needed.
  • Support and deliver job-related training to colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively within and outside the department.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

  • Relevant experience in a similar role is desirable.
