Salary: £34,923 + Bonus + Benefits

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days | 7am–7pm)

Join Müller – and help ensure quality at every stage. We’re looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Market Drayton site, supporting laboratory testing and factory quality standards to ensure our products meet the highest specifications before reaching our customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory, microbiology, or food manufacturing experience looking to develop their career in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carrying out microbiological, chemical, and physical testing
  • Ensuring all testing is completed in line with quality schedules and standards
  • Investigating and escalating out-of-spec results (OOS)
  • Supporting root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
  • Conducting sampling and environmental monitoring
  • Maintaining accurate lab records and reports
  • Supporting internal audits and compliance (HACCP, BRCGS)
  • Working closely with production teams to improve quality performance

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in Quality, Laboratory, or Food Manufacturing
  • Knowledge of microbiology or analytical testing
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and IT skills
  • Qualification in Chemistry, Food Science, or similar
  • HACCP / Food Safety knowledge
  • FMCG or dairy experience
  • Auditing experience
