Role: 13-Month Packaging Intern
Location: Market Drayton, Shropshire (Travel to our Telford site will also be required)
Start date: 1st July 2026

About the Role: Packaging plays an essential role in business and Müller is looking for talented placement students to join the Packaging team. This opportunity allows students to gain an understanding into packaging materials, packaging tools and processes, within an award-winning FMCG business. This role will expose a student to a variety of functions from collecting data to analyse decisions made by the packaging team, to supporting laboratory testing and manufacturing trials.
What You’ll Do:
- Collect and analyse data to support packaging decisions
- Contribute to the development, research, and implementation of packaging innovations
- Assist with laboratory testing and manufacturing trials
- Collaborate across departments and gain exposure to the wider business
- Support sustainability, legislation, and printing/decoration technology projects
- Participate in a group project with fellow placement students

- Capability to work across multiple projects, meet demanding deadlines, and prioritise tasks in a rapidly changing environment
- Creative mindset to support research and innovation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Eligibility to work in the UK (Please note this role is not eligible for sponsorship as the salary falls below the required threshold.)
- Full UK driving licence, held for at least one year
