In this role the key responsibilities will include:

• Carry out preventative maintenance to ensure equipment remains operational.
• Delegate maintenance tasks across the team.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and prioritise tasks.
• Manage Multi‑Vendor Suppliers for efficient site stores inventory management.
• Complete all line manager tasks for the respective shift team.
• Provide engineering expertise to assigned areas (e.g., effluent plant, engineering stores, process and filling plant/equipment).

Key skills & experience:

• Expertise in delivering maintenance to Process and Service systems and equipment in a GMP/food manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
• Knowledge and experience of compliance systems e.g. PSSR, LOLER.
• Significant experience in leading and developing a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills.
• Self‑direction and personal drive.
• Effective team‑working and leadership abilities.
• High integrity and adaptability.
• Excellent communication skills.
