We are currently looking to recruit for Cream Packing Operative to join our Chill Department at our Droitwich Dairy within our Müller Milk & Ingredients business. The purpose of this role is to strive to manually pack dairy products delivering the required product output. You will need to have a strong team working ethic, be results driven and proactive.

Contract: Full Time / Perm

Salary: £32,095.16 plus overtime premiums

Shift Pattern: 3 Rotational Shift Patterns Days and Night – Including weekend work (6am–3pm/3pm–Midnight)

Location: Droitwich

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Manually pack products into boxes, ensuring the products are fit for purpose.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, risk assessments and basic PMS.
  • Consistent quality control inspection and awareness, assuring customer expectations and product standards are maintained.
  • Maintain hygiene and environmental standards – clean as you go.
  • Operate equipment and processes effectively, delivering the required output relative to the role.
  • Replenish materials as required.
  • Deliver and support the training of colleagues on job related tasks.
  • Effectively communicate to individuals within and outside of department.
  • Undertake any other duties; in keeping with the nature of the role as requested.

  • Comply with food safety requirements and adhere to site quality procedures.
  • Maintaining chill standards whilst looking to constantly improve.
  • Take reasonable care for the health, safety and welfare of themselves and others that may be affected by their acts or omissions.
  • Cooperate with the company, so far as is necessary, to enable the company to perform or comply with any required or imposed duties imposed under relevant statutory provision.
  • Actively promote and comply with all company policies, procedures and values.

Demonstrable skills, experience and knowledge within the following:

  • Previous experience with food products and materials.
  • Positive thinking, motivated, works well on own initiative and shows good timekeeping.
  • To be an active part of small teams with operational excellence objectives.
  • To have opportunities to deliver own ideas to improve our business.
  • A good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Understands the impact of own actions and others on achieving site/business objectives.
  • Health and safety of self and others.
