We\’re currently recruiting for a Site Logistics Manager to support our Market Drayton (TF9 3UY) and Yew Tree site on a permanent, full time basis. As a Site Logistics Manager you will be responsible for creating and embedding a culture that enables our people to deliver targets whilst continuously improving the performance of our business.
Your challenge as Site Logistics Manager:
- Creating, implementing and maintaining a high performing team, embedding PMS (Performance Management System) principles
- Drive a best in class service model by reviewing, understanding and addressing adverse impacts to customer service
- Preparation of annual budget following GO principles and in line with timescales set, and monitor and investigate significant deviations for all areas of ownership
- Sponsor of Operational Excellence principles in everything that we do
- Collaboratively works with other functions to improve our business and embed best practice
Site Logistics Manager Key Tasks:
- To lead, and be responsible for, the Logistics function and the Management Team across the two sites
- Build and implement the site business plan and site strategy plan to compliment and align with the wider organisational objectives and initiatives of the business , engaging with peers and site colleagues to embed within area of responsibility
- Enable and encourages the site team to create and deliver OE opportunities, improving the way we do things, focussing on value, customer service and best practice
- Team development and PDP\’s, encouraging team to seek out and own self development
- Demonstrating a Health and Safety commitment through embedding the Muller safety culture and engagement across all levels of the function
- Aligned to industry development and implementation of best in class approach.
- Responsible for external revenue growth from fleet and labour utilisation to add financial return on sites profit and loss.
A Muller Logistics Manager should ideally:
- Be commercially focussed, drives volume growth and movement to function cost centre
- Be a Role model, coaching and mentoring the team to maximise their potential and growth, promoting L&D interventions
- Create succession pathways up, through and across the organisation
- Build understanding of how individual, team and site performance impacts the wider business performance.
- Promote and instil MMID behaviours across all levels of the function.
- Develop high level problem solving capability through the team and function
