We are seeking highly skilled Engineers (internally known as Shift Technicians) to join our Telford Dairy – Yogurts & Desserts facility. The successful candidate will handle reactive maintenance and conduct planned maintenance activities as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a time-served apprenticeship or HNC qualification, with experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within food or beverage sectors.

• Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7-7 days and nights
• Salary: £55,620 per annum plus paid overtime at 1.5x
• Bonus: £5,000 signing bonus (payable after passing probation)

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within a fast-paced manufacturing or logistics environment
• Mechanical and electrical engineering experience in production or process environments
• Apprentice-trained with hands-on experience with machinery, pumps, valves, and PLCs
• Knowledge of filling and process technology
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
• Understanding of preventative maintenance techniques
• Team-building skills and cross-functional collaboration ability
