Our client CSG is a leading waste management and resource recovery business, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across the UK. With a strong reputation for operational excellence, compliance, and customer service, CSG works with organisations across multiple sectors to provide safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible waste collection and recycling services.
Due to continued growth, they are now looking to appoint an experienced Transport Planner to join their busy and fast-paced operation. This is a varied and hands-on role responsible for planning efficient and cost-effective vehicle scheduling and routing to maximise utilisation across allocated regions.
You will coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly transport operations, ensuring the smooth allocation of driver and vehicle resources while maintaining high service standards for both internal and external customers. Working closely with regional administration teams and fleet engineers, you will oversee compliance across driver hours, vehicle servicing, tachographs, CPC requirements, and transport documentation.
The role will also involve monitoring fleet performance, managing operational costs, supporting customer service initiatives, and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency.
