Role Overview
As an Untamed Brand Ambassador, you’ll be on the frontlines promoting our premium cat food subscription service to cat parents at top events across the UK. We’re looking for engaging and driven individuals who can thrive in a customer-facing role, enjoy attending high-quality events of all kinds, and get excited by the prospect of conversing with potential customers to introduce them to everything Untamed has to offer. All training is provided. Licensed drivers with their own car is preferable (mileage paid at £0.40/mile), but not required. Ambassadors with their own cars and the ability to help with event setups will earn between £60-£100 more per shift. Sales experience is a major advantage, but is not required. Most direct sales teams are commission-only. Untamed is not. We offer a £15/hr base rate plus a £10 per sale commission, combined with other performance-based cash bonuses. Untamed ambassadors can expect to earn £200+ per shift (based on a 7hr event with 1-2 sale(s) per hour). A sale is defined as a new customer sign-up to our £7 Trial Box.
Managed by a professional team that has been part of some of the top direct sales teams in Europe, the Untamed Direct Sales Department has vowed to treat every ambassador as the valuable asset they are. Our hybrid pay proposition is designed to remove the common stressors associated with the commission-only model that many direct-selling teams offer.
Role Responsibilities
- Represent the ‘Untamed’ brand at a range of events across the UK
- Drive the acquisition of new business for Untamed by engaging with potential customers and promoting the purchase of our introductory £7 Trial Offer
- Achieve (and hopefully exceed) the 7 SPS (sales per shift) benchmark, striving to hit both individual and team targets
- Introduce cat parents to the benefits of Untamed products, emphasizing the importance of high quality ingredients for a high quality life
- Build quality relationships with customers through ethical values and honest communication to improve long-term retention
About you
- A People Person - Are you a conversationalist that can engage with people from all walks of life? We want personable, compassionate, and likeable individuals who enjoy talking about Untamed with event-goers.
- A Pet Person - Understanding pets and their owners is advantageous. You don’t need to own a pet, but an appreciation of how important pets can be is helpful.
- Sales Experience - A big bonus, but not mandatory. Ability to understand the Untamed brand and convey its fit for customers and their cats is valued.
- Motivated - Exceed targets of £225+ per shift. Bonus opportunities range from food festivals to county shows.
- Flexible Work - Brand Ambassadors are self-employed freelancers; shifts are scheduled to fit your availability.
